Cabinet by Design is a design driven cabinet, millwork and furniture manufacturer founded primarily on the principle of building high quality furniture, cabinetry, doors and other wood products. We are focused on the quality of our finished goods exceeding industry standards and client expectations. Cabinet by Design is a division of Archwood Manufacturing Group, Inc. established in 1985 and conveniently located in Van Nuys, California. Given the demand for high quality kitchens and built in closets, Archwood Manufacturing Group, Inc. has expanded to create a separate Kitchen and Closet division managed by our dedicated designers and craftsmen.

They made a small side table, an end table, laundry room, and two built ins. One of the build ins for for a bedroom with closet, drawers, and one built in was for my office with drawers, center lighted cabinets, etc.

It was a full kitchen remodel, and Charley and Sharon did the cabinets, and the design. You won't get better cabinets, or designs. Period. Not only did Charley and Sharon deliver on time, they did it for the price they said it would be. And, charley saved my butt a few times when other workers doing other things besides cabinets, didn't do what they said they would do, and Charley sent me guys to fix it. .
Had I met Charley before we had hired other people to do things other than the cabinets, i would have given Charley the keys to my house and went on vacation. It is rare in life when you go through a remodel and you end up with more than you expected, and happier than you expected.

I had space limitations both overall exterior and interior. Charlie spent as much time as necessary and as many iterations as needed to get a final design that was exactly what we needed. When I suggested an element he was not shy to politely tell me it would look bad or good, yet he made what I wanted so long as it would be structurally sound. The workmanship of the finished product is impeccable. The finish is exactly what we selected from the 6 samples he made up for us to choose from. Final cost was about what he estimated early in the design process (before a lot of details were specified).

Charlie also remodeled the beams in my family room and the kitchen and we are very happy with the results. They have also been very kind and open to help with any other small home repair jobs that I have needed done.
